Japanese panko breadcrumbs are extremely popular in Japan and are often used in the preparation of some of the most famous dishes such as 'tonkatsu' (breaded pork spare ribs or loin), 'ebifry' (prawn fritters) and even 'kakifry' (breaded oysters).

Panko is made from petals or flakes of white sandwich bread and, when cooked, creates a light, extremely crispy and crumbly breading that gives dishes a unique texture. Our tip: For best results, we recommend using panko together with frying oil at a temperature of 180°C. The result is a tender, golden and extremely tasty crust. Perfect combination: Ideal for breading minced meat, white fish, langoustines, oysters, prawns, fruit and much more...
